OK, I haven't kept current with this forum. Sorry about that. I'll see if I can keep it together now. Really appreciate all the great fan support we had this summer on all our gigs. Had a great time. Best to all,
Bill

Afternoon Bill. Looking forward to hearing you tonight at the Octoberfest in Edmonton. I was wondering if you could point me to where I might locate some sheet music for the song Baby Blue. Reason is that I'm participating in a thing at a local music store called weekend warriors and one of the songs we are learing is Baby Blue. Being a new commer to guitar playing I'm having difficulty figuring out the guitar solos by hear. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and keep up the great music.

Bill,
It was great to sit with you on the airplane from Vancouver to Toronto. I passed on to my son the information you gave about music colleges and he took about 10 seconds to start looking into these schools! I gave my son my boarding pass that you put your name and the information on and, like I said, he is saving it because you signed it!! :)We would love to come and see you in concert some time when you are in the Toronto area. That would be really terrific! Again, thanks for your kindness and the information you gave.
Sincerely,
Wendell Leytham

Hey Bill, There is this information site on the web called Wikipedia. It's a great place to find info on just about anything and anyone can add info to it. They have a page on The Collectors, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Collectors . I took the liberty of adding a few sentences to the info. My sentence's begins .. "as a Canadian west coast band".......... "Very tight and progressive"...... . Anyways, I truely hope you don't mind that I added my two-bits to the column. The Collectors have always been one of my favorite 60's bands. Growing up in Chilliwack, it was an added bonus that your new name reflected my hometown. The very best to you and "thanks for the memories".

So here I am on a Sunday afternoon, still buzzed from your show yesterday at the Whalley community festival. Well worth waiting the whole day, and definitely worth getting wet from the can't-make-up-its-mind weather!
I just kinda fell into a time warp, along with everyone else, from the opening chords. The only complaint I have is that you didn't play all my favorites. But then, even if you had been on stage for four hours instead of just a little more than one, you wouldn't have had time to play all my favorites.
"Patent On The Wind" was great!

HI BIll, just found this place - will see you tomorrow night at Blue Mountain for the first time ever. (cant believe i'm saying that). I hope you play Fly at Night - its the second song i ever learned to play on guitar, at age 18, sitting at the riding stables at Cultus Lake one summer many years ago

Hi Bill,
My wife and I had the pleasure to see you guys play in Winnipeg at the McPhillips Street Station on Oct 12. We enjoyed every minute of the concert and could not believe how well you guys played!
Hope to see you back sometime soon!
Regards, Nelson
P.S. It sure would be nice to see your earlier work re-released using the original master tapes and given the audiophile treatment it deserves.

Man...you are one guy I'd love to jam with. You certainly were an influence on my guitar playing ever since I saw Chilliwack perform in the very early 70's. Thank you

Hi! I am also a devout fan of The Classics/Collectors/Chilliwack, and I am particularly fascinated with the period and the music of The Collectors. The band's music and the music of the time in general, is nothing short of amazing and pure fun!
Unfortunately, at the time, I was rather unfamiliar with the band, although I did remember the single "I Must Have Been Blind". So having learned much more about them now, I feel that I really missed something! Plus I had the chance to catch the TV special "Shakin' All Over" earlier this year, about the history of Canadian Rock 'N Roll. This was a great show throughout, but I especially enjoyed the segment on The Collectors/Chilliwack. There was some great information there on the evolution of the band. The single "Looking At A Baby" always blows me away! ...As does much of the other Collectors - Chilliwack music. It's fantastic!
I am very delighted to have come across this site and this forum... should be lots of fun! Take care.
Scott.
