These are definitely legit! I just received the 3 CD's last night via Amazon.Ca. I must say how happy I am to finally have my favourite Chilliwack albums on CD! The sound quality is good and the liner notes from Bill are superb. This is the best $50 I've spent in a long time.

You may want to avoid buying these Mushroom era cds. The packaging is superb, but the sound quality is terrible. Dreams and Lights have tape hiss that is so high, it's distracting at a very low volume levels; even in a noisy environment like a car. Breakdown utilizes a defective vinyl record as the source, and inserts spaces in between tracks that are supposed to have segues. Pacemaker may have butchered the last trio of Chilliwack cd reissues, but they are high fidelity compared to the Mushroom imprints. Tragic.

I actually think the sound is pretty good on the three CD's. They're certainly not digitally remastered, and there are a couple of brief background artifacts on Breakdown, but overall I think the sound is pretty clean and the dynamic range is good. I am personally very happy to have the CD's, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other Chilliwack fans.
By the way, the liner notes are superb, and the bonus tracks, especially "Reach", are worth, in my opinion, the price of the CD's alone.
